Cape Aloe (also known as Bitter Latex) from South Africa is perhaps the second most potent laxative and cathartic only behind Senna. Cape Aloe is a very bitter leaf with antioxidant properties, anti-inflammatory properties, antimicrobial properties and is useful for all adverse colon conditions (including chronic constipation), expelling parasites and worms (especially from the liver and colon); promoting bowel regularity, and soothing digestive discomfort.
When Senna leaf is too potent, give Cape Aloe a try.
