Hoodia (also known as Bushman’s hat and Queen of the Namid) , from South Africa’s Kalahari desert, is a medicinal cactus that promotes weight management (especially weight release or weight loss) by means of appetite suppressant properties.
Hoodia contains a molecule called “P57” which stimulates the central nervous system by increasing adenosine triphosphate (ATP) levels in the area of the brain called the hypothalamus, which regulates metabolic processes.
